ASPC /AMHR Club of North Texas
ASPC/AMHR Club of North Texas was formed in 1994 in the Dallas/Ft Worth Metroplex, for our members to enjoy and promote their Shetland ponies and Miniatures.  Since then we have helped develop the show circuit for the state of Texas.  Our shows are held at the Somerville County Expo Center in Glen Rose Texas.

As Club members with the ASPC/AMHR we have hosted the Area 5 National show, and the 2000 National Convention alsong with hosting a number of seminars and play days.  We strive to promote a happy, healthy environment for people to enjoy their Shetlands and Miniatures.  We stress camaradeie and willingness to aid newcomers in learning how to enjoy their animals.

YOUTH:  The ASPC/AMHR of North Texas developed the Area 5 High point Youth Horse/Pony Program.  We participate in the National Youth High Point Show program and include a variety of youth classes in every show. We also sponsor the Area V Youth Scholarship Program. Our Club strives to develop good sportsmanship in our young members. Youth should hold a current youth card in order to show. If you do not have a youth card, you may register at the show or enroll through the
home office. Youth cards are free but you must have a new youth card each year in order to participate.

Amateurs:  ASPC/AMHR Triple A Amateur Advantage Program sponsored by the ASPC/AMHR Registry.  This program is designed with the amateur in mind. Our shows host a variety of amateur classes. You must hold a current amateur card in order to participate in any amateur classes.  Contact the
